Colour flight

Advanced studies with Charlie Sheard at UNSW Art and Design culminated in five colour studies in abstract. The paintings have varying palettes of colour from three colours to a full colour wheel. The paintings were required to be similar in form and composition to each other with expression and handling the main subject to communicate expression.

The limited palette paintings were used to fully explore the range of colours that could be found through mixing, while the large palette paintings utilised balance and harmony in colour management for expression.
