Lake Eyre Watercolours

The watercolours capture the watery atmosphere of the salt pans flooding. The expansive landscape, normally shades of white, grey and ochre and unbelievably flat, flood every few years through inland rivers flowing through the channel country from Queensland. The water brings life to the hot dry plains. The life-giving event is captured in the instant drying times of the watercolours.
